San Clemente has a mild, Mediterranean-like climate with sunny skies almost year-round.
Early October is normally in the upper 70’s and sunny. It can get cooler at night and in the mornings.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) – Located in Santa Ana, this is the closest airport, about a 30-minute drive to San Clemente. It’s a convenient and smaller airport, making it easier for quick arrivals and departures.
San Diego International Airport (SAN) – About an hour’s drive south of San Clemente, this is another good option with a variety of flight options.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) – Approximately an hour to an hour and a half drive north, depending on traffic. It’s the largest airport nearby with the most flight availability but can be busier and more crowded.
